Salam readers..

This blog is my personal collection of recipes.. I learnt cooking when i was about 13 or 14 yrs old from my lovely mummy.. I started with writing the recipes in a school notebook yg kotak2 utk maths tu.. I dont even remember where I put that book dah hehe.. Then I translated (eng > bm), typed, printed and filed them for easy reference for our house helpers.. This file has been in my mummy's kitchen for a longgggg time..

Now that I'm married, I've learnt some new recipes obtained from the internet, whc I tweaked to suit our tastebuds.. So kira internet recipes tu dah modified to our own liking la.. And of course I'm also learning new recipes from my MIL too.. Apart from my mum, my MIL and the Internet, I will also feature recipes sent by my friends here.. ^_^

Most of the recipes in this blog are very simple to cook, very suitable for us women who doesnt really have the luxury of time to cook an elaborated meal.. Sekali sekala ok la kan..

I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I enjoy sharing the recipes with you.. Happy trying! Happy cooking!

::healthy tuna pasta::

this was actually a recipe i got from the internet and of course, tweaked to our tastebuds.. sedap.. it was a refreshing change of pasta dishes.. kalau tak asyik beef je kan.. hehehe..in the original recipe, they use fresh parsley and fresh tomatoes.. but i had to substitute with something quick bcoz of time constraint.. ok here goes..

 tuna - 1 can, drained
roasted garlic - 2 teaspoons (use normal garlic if u dont hv these)
dried parsley
tomato paste/puree - 1 small can
diced tomatoes - 1/2 can
black pepper
cayenne pepper (or chilli powder)

{cara2}

1) prepare pasta first. as usual, put a pot of water to a boil. while waiting for water to boil, prepare other ingredients..

2) in a large bowl, mix the drained tuna with 1 teaspoon of roasted garlic and parsley.. put aside..

3) in another pan, heat the oil, and fry another 1 teaspoon of garlic and parsley.. and then add in the tomato paste, tomato cubes, dash of black pepper, salt and sugar.. add some water if u need too. mix well and cover until the sauce simmer.

4) once your pasta is el dente, drain them and pour the pasta into the large bowl with the tuna and mix well..

5) once the sauce is done, tutup api and pour the sauce into the mixing bowl as well. mix well again. and we're ready to makan!!! ^_^
