Salam readers..

This blog is my personal collection of recipes.. I learnt cooking when i was about 13 or 14 yrs old from my lovely mummy.. I started with writing the recipes in a school notebook yg kotak2 utk maths tu.. I dont even remember where I put that book dah hehe.. Then I translated (eng > bm), typed, printed and filed them for easy reference for our house helpers.. This file has been in my mummy's kitchen for a longgggg time..

Now that I'm married, I've learnt some new recipes obtained from the internet, whc I tweaked to suit our tastebuds.. So kira internet recipes tu dah modified to our own liking la.. And of course I'm also learning new recipes from my MIL too.. Apart from my mum, my MIL and the Internet, I will also feature recipes sent by my friends here.. ^_^

Most of the recipes in this blog are very simple to cook, very suitable for us women who doesnt really have the luxury of time to cook an elaborated meal.. Sekali sekala ok la kan..

::daging black pepper/black pepper beef::



usually when i cook black pepper beef, i use maggi's black pepper beef mix yg juz tmbh air tu.. but this time, i wanted to try cooking it from scratch.. and alhamdulillah it worked.. tak sama sebijik la dgn maggi punyer tp sedap gak.. hahah perasan giler.. :P

so here's my recipe:

{bahan-bahan}

[A]
~ onions - 2 biji > hiris
~ garlic - 2 ulas > hiris
~ ginger - 1.5 cm > hiris
~ cili merah - 1 btg >tumbuk
~ black pepper - 3-4 sudu besar > tumbuk kasar

[B]
~ beef - rebus dulu n slice it thinly
~ kicap pekat - 2 sudu besar
~ oyster sauce - 5 sudu besar
~ sugar - 1 sudu besar
~ capsicum/green pepper
~ big onion - potong wedges (if u want)

^ for ourselves, i actually blended all the [A] ingredients.. so up to u la nk hiris or blend k.. :)


{cara-cara masak}

1) heat oil in pan and tumis all bahan2 [A] smpi wangi/naik minyak
2) add in the beef, air rebusan beef tu sikit, kicap, oyster sauce & gula..
3) let it boil and pekat..
4) then masukkan the capsicum and bwg besar.. gaul jap and angkat.. siap! ;)
