Salam readers..

This blog is my personal collection of recipes.. I learnt cooking when i was about 13 or 14 yrs old from my lovely mummy.. I started with writing the recipes in a school notebook yg kotak2 utk maths tu.. I dont even remember where I put that book dah hehe.. Then I translated (eng > bm), typed, printed and filed them for easy reference for our house helpers.. This file has been in my mummy's kitchen for a longgggg time..

Now that I'm married, I've learnt some new recipes obtained from the internet, whc I tweaked to suit our tastebuds.. So kira internet recipes tu dah modified to our own liking la.. And of course I'm also learning new recipes from my MIL too.. Apart from my mum, my MIL and the Internet, I will also feature recipes sent by my friends here.. ^_^

Most of the recipes in this blog are very simple to cook, very suitable for us women who doesnt really have the luxury of time to cook an elaborated meal.. Sekali sekala ok la kan..

::daging goreng berempah::

hi y'all.. today i decided to try cooking daging goreng berempah.. actually i dont even knw how to cook it.. so i browsed thru some recipes from google but byk giler diff2 versions of the same name.. lps baca about 4-5 recipes, kepala sudah pening.. semuanya berbeza2.. so i decided to do it on my own jer.. ikut instinct jer.. and ikut apa yg ada dlm dapur tu jer.. hahahaha berani giler.. kang tak sedap pdn muka kan.. nasib baik sedap.. to me la hahaha perasan giler.. so if u wanna try, bole jer ikut recipe ni pulak.. and recipe ni tuk those yg tak kisah masak dgn byk2 bahan.. so warning dulu, byk gak bhn2 dia.. some ppl bila tgk bahan byk2 jer kepala dia terus blank, mcm one of my bff.. hehe.. ok, here goes! happy trying!!



bahan-bahan:

[A]
~ daging - rebus sikit, n then hiris nipis2, simpan air rebus daging
~ onion/shallot - hiris
~ garlic - cincang
~ daun kari

[B - blend everything]
~ serai
~ ginger
~ cili padi (nk guna cili merah pun bole kut hehe)
~ jintan manis & puteh (kalau ada serbuk better)
~ bunga cengkih (ckitttt jer)
~ black pepper & white pepper (kalau ada serbuk or crushed better)
~ tomato sauce (if u wanna use fresh tomato better kut)
~ kicap manis
~ kicap masin
~ oyster sauce


[cara-cara memasak]

1) after blending all the bahan2 B, gaul dgn daging yg da direbus n dihiris td skali dgn air daging n daun kari.. biarkan perap for about 30mins..

2) after 30mins, separate the daging from the bahan2 perap..

3) heat oil in a pan.. add in the beef, goreng smpi ada brown2 ckit.. then tumis the onion and garlic.. when the onion n garlic da turn a lil brown, pour all the air perap daging td n let it boil..

4) kecikkan api n let it dry up.. kacau sekali sekala so tat tak hangit..

5) tu jer.. hehe.. kalau tak cukup salt for u, tambah la salt k.. for me da ok sbb da ada kicap masin n oyster sauce.. bon apetit! :)
